The penultimate episode of The Spencer Sisters Season 1 looks to have an intriguing mystery. But perhaps the biggest one could set the Spencers against each other. Find out more about what to expect in Season 1, Episode 9!
The last episode of the Canadian crime show airing on The CW had the Spencers hired to investigate a priceless violin stolen from a music academy. It had a few turns, from an innocent janitor framed by a jealous student to a possible cheating scandal.
It turned out the violin was stolen by two students who, feeling overwhelmed by the pressure their parents put on them, wanted to run away and sell the violin to make ends meet. The Spencers were able to talk them down and solve some family issues along the way.
A bigger problem was Darby getting suspicious of Victoria’s boyfriend Billy, worried the guy was after her mom’s money. Victoria told Darby off about how she could take care of herself with Darby deciding to trust her mother.
However, tech hacker Alistar was intent on proving Billy was up to no good, finding a video of him in a mysterious meeting abroad. It was clear Alistar was being driven by his own feelings for Victoria.
This subplot may come up in the next episode to add to an already twisted mystery.
What’s coming on The Spencer Sisters Season 1, Episode 9?
“The Diva’s Disaster” has Victoria and Darby discovering a mix of real life and fiction when the actress who played Victoria’s star detective in movies finds herself accused of a real murder attempt.
"“The actress who played ‘Bryn Martell’ in the movies based on Victoria’s books, calls Victoria after she’s accused of the attempted murder.”"
There should be fun of Victoria and Darby mixing with the movie world with former cop Darby ready to point out what the movies get wrong about the job. It’ll also be funny to see Darby meeting a woman playing a character based on her.
The Billy subplot is likely going to take up more time with questions about him and his secrets and whether Darby and Alistar are right to be suspicious of him. This will set up the season finale next week, as The Spencer Sisters seems set for a nice final run of episodes.
