The Equalizer Season 4 needs to pick up off the back of THAT major cliffhanger. Here’s everything we know about the season so far.

The Equalizer Season 3 certainly left us with an intense cliffhanger. We only thought we’d have to wait the summer to get answers at first, but then the actors joined the writers in the strike action. The two strikes have now ended, and it’s time to find out when we can expect our favorite shows to return.

We don’t have too much about The Equalizer Season 4 just yet. Here’s what we do know right now.

When will The Equalizer Season 4 premiere on CBS?

CBS has set mid-February returns for the majority of its shows. The Equalizer will premiere its fourth season on Sunday, Feb. 18. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT as usual.

The show will be on Paramount+ the day after if you need to catch up.

How many episodes will be in The Equalizer Season 4?

CBS has said that the majority of its shows will have between 10 and 13 episodes. There are a couple of outliers, but we envision The Equalizer being somewhere around that range. 13 episodes would make sense with a mid-February return. Previous seasons have been between 10 and 18.

Who will return for Season 4 of The Equalizer?

The third season left a lot of fates on the line. Dante, Harry, and Mel were left tied up as a bomb threatened to go off. All McCall could do was watch in hope that her friends could find a way out of danger.

We do expect to see all three make it out alive. After all, there’s been no news on any of the actors leaving the series. Of course, the series could opt to keep things quiet to make the premiere have a bigger impact, but there has to be a way out of the situation.

The following are all expected to return at this point:

Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, aka “the Equalizer”

  • Tory Kittles as Marcus Dante
  • Adam Goldberg as Harry Keshegian
  • Liza Lapira as Melody “Mel” Bayani
  • Laya DeLeon Hayes as Delilah
  • Lorraine Toussaint as Viola “Aunt Vi” Marsette
  • Donal Logue as Colton Fisk

We’re also sure to see Ilfenesh Hadera return as Michelle, even if it’s just for the premiere episode. Michelle was Robyn’s former friend, who was assumed dead. Michelle has held Robyn captive and put her friends’ lives on the line as an act of revenge.

What to expect in The Equalizer Season 4

The season is sure to pick up with the cliffhanger at the end of Season 3. Is it possible that Delilah and Aunt Vi will find a way to save Mel, Harry, and Dante? We kow that Vi has a knack for diffusing hostage situations and Delilah has worked with Mel and Robyn to learn some self-defense skills. Those storylines have to lead to something, don’t they?

As for the rest of the season, the show tends to do a case of the week. It would be great to learn more about the other characters, though. I still feel like we haven’t got to know Harry quite as well as we could, and there’s still so much more to explore about his relationship with Mel.
