How will Heida Reed leave FBI: International?
Heida Reed is leaving FBI: International at some point early in Season 3. How will this exit play out? Could she be a casualty of that cliffhanger?
FBI: International is about to lose its second OG cast member. This series hasn’t seen the same cast turnover as its fellow FBI spin-off Most Wanted, but it’s still difficult when an OG cast member leaves. After all, it means getting to know a new character while saying goodbye to an established one.
Reed is leaving during the third season. It’s not clear exactly when. All that has been stated is “early” in Season 3, which could suggest within the first couple of episodes. Could this offer a hint as to how permanent this exit is going to be?
Will Jamie Kellett be killed in the explosion in FBI: International?
The second season ended with a major cliffhanger. A bomb in the Fly Team HQ building went off with everyone but Raines inside. Raines was by the door as it happened, getting blasted back. Don’t worry about Tank, though! He was a very good boy and had stayed well away from the explosion.
We knew that there had to be at least one casualty in this explosion. A show like FBI: International needs to remain grounded, and major deaths after such big explosions is the best way to do that. With Reed leaving in early Season 3, it could mean that Jamie Kellett will be the casualty in the explosion.
There are ways to show her at first, and we could see her come back as a figment of imagination for a while. After all, Forrester was directly connected to her through their previous relationship, so the idea of him seeing her while he accepts her death is reasonable. Alternatively, she could fight for her life in the premiere only to end up losing it, in a way that Grey’s Anatomy handled Mark Sloan’s death in Season 9.
FBI: International Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up on the series on Peacock.
