911: Lone Star isn't airing a new episode tonight, but there's still one more in 2024
There is some bad news for 911: Lone Star fans tonight, Monday, Nov. 25. The show won’t air a new episode on FOX.
Don’t worry; you didn’t overlook the last episode of 2024. The show is taking a one-week break. It’s not all that clear why, but it’s likely linked to scheduling needs. It seems to be the only reason considering there’s a rerun of the season 5 premiere on tonight.
When will 911: Lone Star season 5 return with new episodes?
The good news is that we only have a week to wait. There will be a new episode airing next Monday, Dec. 2. This will not be followed by a new episode of Rescue: Hi-Surf. That series is already on its winter break.
The next episode is the fall finale for 911: Lone Star, though. We’re sure to see it end in a major way. After all, it looks like Carlos is in grave danger, and the show will want to find a way to make us need more in January!
What to expect in 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 9
The fall finale will see Carlos head out with the Rangers on the hunt for the man responsible for his dad’s death. Carlos got some shocking information at the end of the previous episode. After just getting his father’s missing CI back, he learned that there is a mole within the Rangers. That mole is Campbell.
It now makes sense why it seemed like Carlos’s dad knew the man at the door the night he was shot. It also makes sense how it was so easy for someone to literally get away with murder. Plus, there’s the fact that Campbell didn’t really want Carlos to be on the team, viewing things as Carlos getting special treatment because of who his dad was.
What will Carlos do with that information? How will he use it to his advantage? And is it what leads to Carlos getting shot in the promo for the episode?
Meanwhile, there’s an incredible offer to Owen. The fire department wants Owen to become the next Fire Chief, but not here in Texas. They want him to move back to New York. Owen’s life now is in Texas, so will he uproot everything again? That will be especially hard considering TK won’t leave Texas while Carlos is there.
