Tommy has learned some devastating news, and now she needs to step away from a job she loves in 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 7. Let’s break down the preview of the episode.
There is a lot going on in the final season of the series. Gina Torres gets her biggest story yet, as Tommy has just learned that she has breast cancer. It’s bad, and it means that she will need to step away from the 126.
I do have to question this decision. Doesn’t that mean she’ll lose her health coverage? She’ll need that as she fights breast cancer. Plus, Owen was able to work while fighting cancer, so will he be able to talk Tommy into staying with the 126? She needs people around her, right?
Wyatt tries to help a suicidal woman in 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 7
Meanwhile, the promo shows us that Wyatt will get a devastating call of his own. A woman calls 911 to tell them to shut down the highway. There hasn’t been an accident yet, but she is about to cause one. She’s ready to take her own life.
Wyatt can’t let that happen. There’s little he can do to help on the other end of the phone except to listen to her, but he will dispatch the 126 at the same time. There is some hope out there. Out of everyone, Wyatt knows what it’s like to be in that dark place and want to end it all. Can he use his own experience to help her?
While all that goes on, we’ll get to meet Enzo, TK’s stepfather. Enzo was the father figure TK needed after Owen and Gwyneth split up. This means there is some animosity between Owen and Enzo, especially with how things ended for Owen and Gwenyth when they tried getting back together a couple of seasons ago.
Check out the promo and synopsis for 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 7:
"TK gets a huge surprise on his 30th birthday when his stepdad Enzo (guest star Henry Ian Cusick) arrives in Austin along with TK’s young half-brother Jonah; Owen’s resentment of Enzo turns physical; Tommy is determined to push through her latest crisis; Wyatt attempts to talk-down a suicidal caller and the 126 must perform a dangerous surgery in the field after a man is impaled in a tree."
