We have some bad news for 911: Lone Star fans. There isn’t going to be another new episode in 2024.
That’s right; the series is now on a break. 911: Lone Star season 5, episode 9 was the fall finale, and what a fall finale it was! Carlos got the answers he needed, although those answers didn’t really bring him closure. Then there was the storyline for Judd that we just didn’t see coming.
There is still a lot going on. We need to see whether Owen will end up changing his mind about his career prospects, and we need to know how Tommy does with her cancer treatment. We just won’t find out for a while.
When is 911: Lone Star season 5 back with new episodes?
The good news is the wait isn’t too long. This isn’t like 911 season 8, where fans need to wait until March! No, FOX is bringing 911: Lone Star back in January 2025.
The series will return on Monday, Jan 20. It will keep the same time slot of 8 p.m. ET/PT, and it will continue to act as a lead-in for the first-responder drama Rescue: Hi-Surf.
We have a small tease of what to expect when the show returns. Everyone in Austin gets an emergency alert. There is an asteroid heading their way, and it could lead to the end of their world as they know it. Of course, it will mean some panic from the people of Austin, and it will mean a few emergencies as the asteroid lands. Even if it’s not as world-ending as initially expected, there are sure to be some mass casualties.
The 911: Lone Star series finale date is set
There is more bad news that comes with this post. Of course, this is the final season, and we now know when 911: Lone Star will end. The series finale is set to air on Monday, Feb. 3.
There are only three episodes left of the series! It’s hard to imagine that this is how close we are to the end of the series, and it looks like it could end with an apocalypse.
911: Lone Star returns on Monday, Jan. 20 at 8/7c on FOX. Catch up on the series on Hulu.
