For the last few episodes, 911: Nashville has been focused on the hack that took over the city. Now that is over with, it’s time to turn back to the family drama, and 911: Nashville season 1 episode 9 will take us back to Dixie’s story.
Dixie is Blue’s mom, who clearly has an issue with Blythe because Don chose her in the end. However, the two women just need to learn to get along now that Blue is in Don and Blythe’s life, and it could be more important than ever with the current health situation.
Dixie may not have much time left on 911: Nashville season 1 episode 9
There have been clear hints of a serious health condition for Dixie from the beginning. It’s why Dixie wanted Blue to end up with more money from his dad. She has pushed Blue to get everything he needs to give to her.
However, things are taking a turn for the worse. Dixie learns from her doctor that her polyps are growing, and there’s a risk that they will hemorrhage. We know that they’re somewhere in her throat or chest, and this means that she could be at risk of death. That’s certainly something she fears, and she has reason to when she starts coughing up blood.
Don is there when that happens, and he can’t help but rush to her. Blythe is going to hate this, but she needs to understand that not only is Dixie the mother of his son, but she is also a patient. Don would rush to anyone coughing up blood.

A call to a 7 a.m. rave on 911: Nashville
There is a look at one of the calls from the episode. 911: Nashville season 1 episode 9 will see the 113 attend a call at a nightclub. Only, this nightclub isn’t exactly open at night. For some reason, people are in there at 7 a.m.
Let’s not focus too much on that. With the younger generation, anything seems possible right now. And there has to be a nightclub option for those who work nights, right? Instead, let’s focus on the idiocy of people when it comes to an emergency, because not everyone is able to think clearly. In fact, a lot of people end up following the crowd in an emergency because of the panic.
So, it ends up with everyone trying to get out of the building in the exact same way. Of course, that leads to stampedes and being trapped, and the 113 will need to help them.
911: Nashville airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC and streams the following day on Hulu.
