There is no 911 on ABC tonight, Nov. 28 (When will new episodes air?)
It’s Thursday and that normally means a full night of television! However, if you were looking forward to catching a new episode of 911 on ABC, we’re sorry to break it to you that there won’t be a new episode.
The midseason finale of 911 aired on Thursday, Nov. 21 and won’t be back on until March. Even though most programming will return to normal scheduling once the Thanksgiving holiday in the US is over, this is one of the many shows that is already finished for the year.
As we saw in the midseason finale, the focus was mostly on Brad Torrence, although for a midseason finale it would have been better to see where the main characters were at before the three month hiatus. From what we saw, we do know at least one character, Eddie (Ryan Guzman), might be making a break for the 118.
911 is on hiatus but what are we looking forward to for the rest of the season?
After realizing his son, Christopher, was growing up and changing without him being there, he made the big decision to move to El Paso. However, Eddie does have a tendency to make big decisions without thinking about alternative solutions, so hopefully he realizes he should have a conversation with Christopher first.
He can still go to El Paso to see Christopher, but we would love to actually see a conversation between the two. So far in season 8, we have been missing key conversations between the main characters and hopefully this is rectified in the second half when it returns.
With it appearing that the Brad storyline is over, we do know from the promo for the next episode that Maddie Han (Jennifer Love Hewitt) will likely be abducted. This is major cause for concern, especially since she is pregnant. This storyline could have impactful ramifications for her family, including her brother, Evan Buckley (Oliver Stark).
Between his sister’s abduction, his best friend likely moving, and having been recently broken up with, Buck is sure to be put through the wringer as well. We still have our fingers crossed that a reconciliation might be possible for him with his ex, Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.) since there are still plenty of episodes left to go in the season.
So even though there won’t be a new episode of 911 for a while, we still have a lot to look forward to. With the hiatus upon us, you can check out previous episodes of the show on Hulu.
Have a wonderful holiday season and check back in with Precinct TV for more 911 coverage!
