If you’ve seen A Murder in Mansfield, you will know a little about the case. That documentary followed Collier Landry, as he headed to prison to visit his father in an attempt to get an admission of guilt. Now as an adult, he wants some answers and some real closure.
As a child, he did the unthinkable. He was able to help get some justice for his mother, as he team up with a detective in the case of his missing mother.
A Plan to Kill season 1, episode 8 sneak peek
The sneak peek for the new episode tells us about Lieutenant Mesmore’s attempt at getting to the bottom of the disappearance of Noreen Landry. Noreen was a loving mother and wife, and Lieutenant Mesmore knew her husband well. He was a doctor who was working on opening up a large practice. This was a man with a lot of influence, so Mesmore knew he had to be careful.
When he went to the house of Dr. Blythe, the doctor’s mother opened the door. Blythe was away, but Collier Landry was at home. Collier was the 11-year-old son of Noreen and Blythe.
The sneak peek gives us a look at how Collier reacted to Mesmore’s appearance in the house. He quickly shared that his mom wouldn’t just leave, and deep down, Mesmore knew that. It helped to form a bond between the two, as this 11-year-old boy was being listened to. This wasn’t a kid making up stories, and he could help to crack the case.
