The Fly Team has a new agent: Who is Agent Quinn in FBI: International?

Agent Quinn has joined the Fly Team on a temporary basis. Who is Agent Quinn, and what does she want in FBI: International?

Just after Agent Tyler Booth went home, the Fly Team has another temporary agent join the team. Agent Quinn is part of the FBI: International story, but this isn’t necessarily a good thing.

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for FBI: International season 4, episode 12

The new episode opened with the Baltimore Field Office. We saw Agent Quinn deal with learning of the loss of a child and having to inform his dad. She was on the case immediately, making it clear that she would fly out to Budapest to join with he Fly Team on this case of parental abduction.

However, she went out with an ulterior order. FBI Section Chief David Zaleski has ordered her to find something dirty on Wes Mitchell. It’s clear Zaleski has something against Mitchell, and he will use Quinn’s love for her brother and wish to keep her brother out of trouble to do his dirty work.

Riley Quinn can’t see a problem with Wes Mitchell in FBI: International

If Zaleski really wanted to get Mitchell off the board—for whatever reason, because it’s not clear yet—then he really should have just talked to Smitty. Just a few episodes ago, Smitty would have been more than happy to hand over any dirty jobs Mitchell was involved in. Quinn is seeing the good side of Mitchell.

One, the case was one of the easiest ones in recent weeks. Two, the case didn’t involve someone close to him. It wasn’t personal, so he was doing things the “right” way.

Quinn has certainly jumped to conclusions about Mitchell. I could understand her saying that he didn’t do anything wrong in this case and that the rest of the team like him, but she needs to give it time. However, I do like that she’s not itching to get into Zaleski’s good books just yet.

Will Quinn become a problem for the Fly Team?

The question now is whether Quinn will end up causing a problem. She’s only joining the team temporarily, and there’s been nothing in casting announcements that someone new is joining the team permanently. So, it would suggest that this is an arc for a few episodes.

I don’t mind this, to be honest, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of the rest of the dynamic. We’re still getting to know Mitchell and how he connects with the team. This sort of storyline would have worked better against Forrester or someone like Raines or Vo, who we’ve come to know for some time now. Even going against Smitty would have made more sense.

Quinn isn’t really going to know if she can trust anyone. That will make her a problem for the Fly Team. Let’s face it; someone is going to find out the truth!
