After Cook took the lead in the search for two missing children, Ruzek has his own case involving a child. This one is much creepier though based on the promo for Chicago PD season 12, episode 10.
“They’re all dead now,” a young girl named Zoe tells Ruzek about all her moms in the promo. With the music, this is certainly setting things up for a creepy child storyline. Of course, it’s likely that the child is traumatized and has little emotion left to share with everything that happened.
Who is Zoe in Chicago PD season 12, episode 10?
The promo has left us with a lot of questions going into the episode. One of the biggest is the same one that Ruzek asks Voight. Who is this girl?
We know that her name is Zoe, and we know that she’s had a lot of moms. It looks like this is a case of a child in foster care, and she’s been moved from mom to mom. However, all these women have turned up dead. There is a flash of one dead body, and then we see the skeletons of bodies laid out on a sheet.
So, what’s going on? Is Zoe responsible for the deaths of these women? Has she done something? That would be the epitome of creepy child!
It’s likely that someone wants Zoe back and they’re going after the women who end up caring for her. This could be some attempt to force the state to put Zoe back into their care. It’s going to be up to Ruzek and Burgess to get to the bottom of this case.
The synopsis tells us that they get an unexpected visitor, which causes disruption in the case. We know that Ruzek’s father is going to come into the season, so could he be the one that disrupts a few things? It certainly seems plausible, especially with Ruzek and Burgess planning a wedding.
