When Torres started his relationship with Gloria, we knew it would come back to haunt him. That’s about to happen in Chicago PD season 12, episode 7.
At the end of the previous episode, a name made Torres check back on things from the past. Sure enough, there was a connection to Gloria, and now Torres is worried.
He should be worried. He knows that his relationship with her was wrong, and now there’s a chance that it’s all going to come up.
Torres and Burgess could be in trouble in Chicago PD season 12, episode 7
The promo tells us a lot about the next episode. Gloria is back, and this time, it looks like she is running some sort of crime show. This means Torres and Burgess will need to book her, but they can’t. One thing you don’t do is let a bad guy have something over you, especially when it threatens your job or your freedom.
Gloria could easily expose her relationship with Torres. This would lead to Torres potentially going to prison. What he did was against the law, and not just against his badge.
That’s not all. Burgess’s freedom is also on the line. She’s just been made detective, and she has a family at home. In a way, Burgess has a lot more to lose, so the two of them will need to work together to figure out what to do with the Gloria situation.
It looks like one of their own could end up in some trouble as well. Cook goes out on her first undercover assignment. This makes sense, especially if Gloria is involved. Gloria won’t know Cook just yet, so she’ll be able to get away with things for a while. How long until Gloria figures it all out and that Intelligence is on to her, though?
