So far, the episodes of Chicago PD season 13 have been personal. Now it’s time to turn our attention to something that connects to Voight.
Usually, Voight is focused on keeping the rest of Intelligence safe and together. He makes sure that he deals with their problems for them as much as he can, but it’s all about to get personal for him in Chicago PD season 13, episode 4. We know that he doesn’t like to talk to others all that much, though.
Imani asks a lot of questions in Chicago PD season 13, episode 4
The promo for the episode doesn’t highlight too much of the case. We see Voight get a photo of a boy who is covered in bruises and cuts. This is clearly something that deeply effects Voight, and the synopsis tells us that it’s something from his past coming up.
Imani has a lot of questions, and she’s not afraid to ask them. There is a part of her that is very much like Al, and that’s going to be great for the series. We need someone who is willing to ask the hard questions and push Voight for answers, but at the same time, she doesn’t know Voight well enough for this at the moment.
In the promo for Chicago PD season 13, episode 4, she asks question after question, trying to figure out who could leave this for Voight and why. However, at the end, she also tells him to tell her when she needs to stop asking questions. And honestly, Imani, just stop asking questions for now! Voight is not a man to open up, and if he isn’t answering questions, it means he’s processing something deeply personal.
A string of violent robberies
Could this picture be linked to the case of the week? There is a string of violent robberies, and the secrets of a family are about to be dug up. It’s not clear who the family is, or whether this is what’s linked to Voight.
What we do know is that something surprising resurfaces from Voight’s past. We know that he saw some horrible things in the past. He is a man who has tried hard to protect children from violent and abusive situations, which was why Erin Lindsay ended up working closely with him. Is this a case that he couldn’t solve and has eaten at him forever?
