COPS Spring Break is back for another season, and we get to see that every day is a school day. A group of college boys are putting science to the test.
Friday, March 7 sees the start of a whole new season of COPS and that brings a whole new set of problems. Many head to the beaches for some fun and relaxation, but that means the beach cops have their work cut out for them.
They don’t want to ruin the fun, but they also want to promote safety. Beaches get crowded this time of year, and not everyone is thinking smartly. Why think when you’re not still in school?
COPS Spring Break: What’s the problem with the hole officer?
During episode 2 of the new season, a group of students are putting the beach’s integrity to the test. Titled “Hole Lotta Problems,” we’ll see Valentina and Nick give a group of college boys a little bit of a science lesson.
They’re digging a hole. Isn’t that something we all do on a beach? Look at the kids and how much they love to dig. There tends to be this mission to get to where the water is underneath all the sand. What people don’t realize is that the hole is a dangerous place.
Valentina comes in to talk to the group of boys about their mistake. They don’t realize how dangerous it is for them and for other people, allowing Valentina to give them a bit of a lesson about how the sand’s integrity is disrupted. It’s an excellent lesson in safety while also having fun.

On top of this, we get a reminder that there is no drinking on the beach itself, and Valentina puts it in a way for the boys to understand. They’re allowed to go up to the entertainment area and drink, but there’s no drinking on the sand, and for good reason. We need to do our part to look out for the turtles—and there is the safety aspect of broken glass on the beach as well, which I wish Valentina went into.
COPS Spring Break airs on Fridays starting at 6/5c on FOX Nation.
