Elsbeth and the team have a new case to work. This time it involves a popular chef in the city in Elsbeth season 2, episode 5.

This isn’t not going to be an easy case to crack. The chef is going to give them an hour to figure it out in the kitchen. That’s all she can afford with how popular the place is. Shouldn’t the police be the ones giving the orders? What is it about this chef that gives her so much power?

Whatever it is, Elsbeth is in awe. This chef is back to work an hour after being attacked.

The attack on a kitchen staffer in Elsbeth season 2, episode 5

It all starts with a kitchen staffer causing havoc in the kitchen. This isn’t just any kitchen, either. It’s one of the hottest restaurants in New York, so you know that causing havoc is likely to make a point about something.

It angers the chef, who is popular for her work. Did it anger the chef enough for her to commit murder? That could be the case, and it would make sense for her to then only give the cops an hour in the kitchen to handle the investigation.

What I want to know is whether we’ll see one of the mandatory fro-yo nights that was brought up at the end of the previous episode. You’re not telling me that we can’t see that happen on screen now, right? I mean, it was a great addition to the lease!
