Fatal Family Feuds brings a deadly inheritance battle

The sneak peek of the new episode gives us a clear look at the fight that is to come. It’s all about money and the lack of agreement about how the money is split.

We learn a little about the timeline up to the murder. The death of the father of the family leaves almost $500,000. Of course, there’s an argument over the money, with the matriarch deciding that it has to go to her to help with the cost of supporting her disabled adult son.

Now, a lot of adult children would likely agree with something like that. In this case, none of the other siblings were happy with the arrangement. It led to the murder of the matriarch and an investigation into the family. With no will, there’s a fight over who got the money, which initially led to a three-year court battle.

The sneak peek takes us into a few of the key players, including a woman called Kelly, who isn’t related by blood or adoption to the family. However, she has married into this feud.

The synopsis for the episode gives us a few more clues about the investigation. It opens up an incestuous relationship, which is certainly going to raise questions for a lot of people.

"A woman is found stabbed to death in her own home. When police learn of her husband’s brutal family history – a matriarch bludgeoned with an axe, an incestuous affair and a vicious inheritance battle – they need to find out if there’s a connection."
