FBI: International season 4 is on a break for the rest of 2024 (when does it return?)

The Fly Team has seen a lot of change over recent seasons, but it’s still the same show. There’s no doubt that we want more new episodes, but this is where we get soe bad news. FBI: International season 4 has no more new episodes in 2024.

The show is heading on a lengthier break compared to the ones we’ve seen already this season. That’s okay, though. It’s a normal break for this time of year, and we do know when the series will make a return.

When is FBI: International back with new episodes?

In some good news, the show is coming back in January 2025. Get Tuesday, Jan. 28 in your diary. The show will return at the usual time of 9/8c, sandwiched between the other two FBI shows. CBS isn’t changing a thing when it comes to Tuesday nights!

This break seems long compared to other networks, but it isn’t when you have all the details. NBC and ABC opted for November and early December fall finales. CBS has opted for mid-December winter finales. So, it’s only natural that it means the return dates are later in January compared to NBC and ABC’s shows.

Plus, at least we’re not waiting until March for our shows to return! ABC won’t bring the TGIT lineup back until March 2025!

Why do we have this lengthy break in the FBI schedule?

This break is very normal. We need to give the networks time to get episodes in the can to air. While there are a few ready for when January rolls around, there aren’t enough to have a run of new episodes. The cast and crew take this time of year off, and they’ll return in January to get more episodes ready.

It makes sense for the networks to take a break from new episodes this time of year. The linear ratings take a hit as fewer people are watching live. They’re spending time with family, or they’re out at local events. It’s why a lot of networks put on holiday content throughout this time of year, offering something for the whole family.
