A tourist trap is a common occurrence when you go on vacation. Just not in the way it appears in FBI: International season 4, episode 5.

Think about the vacations that you’ve been on. You’ll likely hear from tour guides to avoid certain areas or not to spend money in certain places because they are “tourist traps.” These are places that will get you to pay way over the odds for something that is worthless.

Well, FBI: International is going to bring in a different type of tourist trap. This is one you definitely want to avoid.

Who is luring tourists in FBI: International season 4, episode 5?

The start of the promo tells us why the Fly Team is heading to the next location. A 70-year-old man has gone missing. We get a clip of this man meeting a beautiful young woman.

Honestly, if I see a younger woman luring in an older man, my first thought is that something suspicious is going on. This isn’t for the looks. It’s for a specific lifestyle. Usually, I’d go with gold digger. However, this is much more serious.

The man has been taken, and it looks like tourists are lured in by a woman and then taken. It’s still likely financially motivated, but not for the same reasons as we would initially suspect. The woman who has lured the man in says that the Fly Team doesn’t know who she works for, and she’s clearly scared. Is this some sort of mob business? It certainly gives that sense.

It’s hard to tell, as only the promo is out right now. We will get to see the Fly Team in action, though. Take a look at the FBI: International season 4, episode 5 promo:
