The FBI: Most Wanted series finale promised to be action-packed, and it certainly was. It also brought change to the Fugitive Task Force.

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for the FBI: Most Wanted series finale.

While the FBI: Most Wanted series finale started with a protestor throwing paintballs and then shooting at protestors, it turned into something much bigger. A rogue government operative decided to hack into a server room, stealing a device that allowed him to control all of technology.

The Fugitive Task Force caught a lucky break, when it turned out that one of the rogue operatives needed ADHD medication. Nina and Ray were able to wait at the pharmacy for him to pick it up, and they then followed him to where he was meeting the other guy. The FBI was not about to let this equipment end up in the wrong hands.

Remy announces his retirement in the FBI: Most Wanted series finale

With the day saved, it was time for Remy and Abby to do their soft open of their restaurant. As many suspected, it led to him announcing his retirement. The previous year, he put in a request to extend his contract, despite there being a mandatory retirement age. This time, he realized that he didn't want that, and instead, he wanted to spend the rest of his days with "the love of [his] life."

It was certainly a beautiful touch. Even more beautiful was him going around the table sharing a few words about his team. He had come to look at all of them as family, even Nina and Barnes, who he didn't have the best relationship with to start things off.

Promotions and life changes in FBI: Most Wanted

If FBI: Most Wanted season 7 happened, we had a look at what we would have gotten. The biggest part was the promotion for Barnes. As much as I would have loved for her to take the D.C. gig to be closer to her children, a part of me has always wanted to see her lead the Fugitive Task Force. So when Remy announced her as the new team leader, I did smile. I do feel like the D.C. storyline was wasted, though.

Meanwhile, Hana announced that she is having Ethan move in with her. He's finished his time in rehab and he's now 90 days sober. Of course, she's more excited about the dog than Ethan moving in, and I can't say that's a bad thing.

Nina will continue her life in New York, and while nothing was mentioned for her at the end, she did get closure with her dad at the start of the episode. He finally told her he is proud of her.

Finally, Ray shared that he and Cora are expecting a baby. One of the best things was how Remy noted it was a second child for the two of them. While Ray may be a stepfather, he has stepped up as a dad, and it's clear that Remy sees that.

Overall, there is a sense that the team's work will still go on. With Nina on the team, it does mean that we can hear followups in FBI season 8 or even in the new CIA series. Meanwhile, maybe The Muster Room can become a hangout for everyone to give us a look at Remy every now and then.
