From the minute we met Clay, we knew he was likely trouble. It turns out that he could be leading the team into a trap in FBI season 7, episode 8.

The FBI season 7 fall finale is set to be a big one. Three custom agents are found dead, and it looks like it could be an inside job. Not only will the New York Field Office have to figure out who is doing the killing, but they’ll need to make sure they get the person, or persons, working the case from the inside.

OA decides it’s time to call in a favor, but could that favor lead to a bigger problem? It seems so!

OA calls in Clay’s help in FBI season 7, episode 8

OA decides to turn to Clay. His former Army buddy can help figure out if it’s an inside job or not. Of course, you have to be careful about who you trust when it comes to these sorts of storylines. Is it possible that this is exactly what Clay wanted?

Maggie realizes that Clay could be playing all of them. OA decides to confront Clay in the trailer, which could be the most dangerous thing to do. Clay is clearly up to something with that grin. What does he actually want, though?

Clay has proven to be questionable from the beginning. OA didn’t even want to have dinner with him at first, and then he was all the more uncomfortable when Clay asked OA for help to plant a surveillance bug. It’s clear that Clay is up to something, but it’s been difficult to figure out what. However, with the way he’s pulled into the case and Maggie worries that they’re being played by him, it looks like it could be linked to this potential inside job.
