You will be forgiven for expecting a new episode of Found season 2 tonight, Thursday, Jan. 9. After all, NBC brought us a night of One Chicago drama last night. Why haven’t the Thursday night dramas returned as well?
In some bad news, there’s a bit of an extra wait for Found season 2 to come back. This does come with some good news, and there is also a rerun on tonight to check out.

We’re heading back to the third episode of the season, which was titled “Missing While Lonely.” This was one of those episodes that turned a trope on its head. An elderly woman goes missing the day before she is due to get married to a prison inmate. Of course, there are questions about whether the inmate had something to do with it—did he have a friend on the outside hurt her?
The episode saw the M&A team still fractured after all of Gabi’s lies came out. We also learn more about Sir’s mother in the episode, which is important when it comes to understanding who Sir is and just what he’s done in the past. Getting to know more about his family is essential when Christian shows up, as well.
When will Found season 2 return with new episodes?
The good news is the way for a new episode isn’t too long now. We’ll get Found back on Thursday, Jan. 16. That’s next Thursday!
The episode is titled “Missing While Targeted,” and it sees a recovering drug addict go missing. His girlfriend turns to the M&A team, because the police won’t help. Of course, there are thoughts that this guy has relapsed and that’s why he’s MIA. He doesn’t want to be found when he’s fallen back off the wagon.
Sir ends up uncovering a shocking secret about one of the allies for the M&A team. There aren’t many allies, so could it be Dahn’s husband, or are we looking at Christian or Trent for sordid secrets? This is sure to be a difficult episode in the end, as a member of the team is critically injured. Who is Sir going after, or is this something that happens while on the case?
This extra wait isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It means fewer breaks in the schedule when the show does return, meaning better consistency.
