If there is one cancellation that hurt the most from May 2025, it’s Found. This series had it all, including excellent storytelling, intriguing characters, and strong development. NBC made the wrong decision in cancelling the series, and I will forever stand by that statement.
When the series was canceled, there was a glimmer of hope. Warner Bros. was open to shopping it around, but then things seemed to go quiet. The focus to save the series came to fan campaigns on social media. Well, now it turns out that there is a little bit of hope again.

Found is being actively shopped around
TVLine answered a question from a fan about Found and whether the attempt to shop the series around has failed. According to the publication, there is hope, as Warner Bros. TV continues to shop this series around in the hope of finding a new home.
The problem is there are no bites yet. This doesn’t mean there won’t be, and it’s possible that a few streamers are in negotiation stages, at least to see what the third season of the series was going to look like. This show ended with a major cliffhanger and has a loyal fanbase, so it would make sense for another network to pick it up.

It’s getting harder for other networks to save shows
Just recently, Sony TV exec Katherine Pope talked to Variety about the push to save SWAT after it was canceled for the third time by CBS. Pope talked about how it’s difficult for other networks to save shows now, especially when they have been on the air for many years.
While this could give some bad news, it’s worth noting that Pope talked about shows that have been on the air for many years. Found is still a baby in terms of television seasons, so fans won’t just think of NBC. In fact, a lot of viewers thought that this was a Peacock Original series and not an NBC show, so it’s clear that the loyalty isn’t with the network.
With some hope, Found finds its new home. This is a series that needs to keep getting to tell its stories. There are too many important ones mixed into the cases of the week.
Found is available to stream on Peacock to make it clear that you want more.
