We’re closing in on the last episode of NCIS: Origins of 2024. It’s time for Gibbs to face his first Christmas alone.

Well, technically, he’s not alone. There are people around him if he would let them in. Mike Franks would likely give him a place to mark this first Christmas, knowing that it would be important to keep an eye on Gibbs with what his mindset is likely to be like.

However, this is Gibbs’s first Christmas without Shannon and Kelly. They always say the first Christmas is the hardest, and that’s sure to be the case here. What does he do after years of having a family to celebrate with?

Flashbacks to Gibbs’s first day at NIS in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 10

There’s not much about the case of the week in the winter finale. All we know is that we’ll get some flashbacks of Gibbs’s first day with NIS. This means some run ins with both Franks and Lala.

The promo shows Lala telling Gibbs that she doesn’t trust him. Is that in today’s timeline, or is that in the past? It’s hard to say, because Lala has had plenty of doubts about Gibbs up to this point. She constantly watches out for what he does next, knowing that he has nothing left to lose.

Lala recently shared what was said in Gibbs’s psych eval. To be honest, of course he was going to fail when it came to the fact that he had nothing to lose anymore. That makes a man dangerous and unpredictable. I would love to know what was said in Lala’s eval, though. Mike’s would be even worse, I’m sure! That man is more than unpredictable!
