Morgan and Karadec have a case that involves a murder victim in a slide in High Potential season 1, episode 10. Could this involve a stalker?

It’s rare that we get a case that is so cut and dry. After all, a simple murder investigation doesn’t make for good TV. We need to see the cops work all the angles and then for Morgan to figure out the last pieces of the puzzle to help prove who the murderer was.

And yet, this case seems to involve a stalker and that’s it. What is actually going on in the new episode?

Is the stalker a red herring in High Potential season 1, episode 10?

It does seem like the promo focusing on a stalker is trying to make us think that this is how the case will unfold. It’s too obvious at this point.

Let’s get into what we know about the case in the new episode, though Morgan and Karadec are called to a kids’ playground, where there is a murderer stuck in a slide. Who would want to put a body in a slide? Karadec thinks that this is a smart murderer, which could make it difficult to get to the bottom of the case.

What we do get to know is that the victim tried to escape when she was hit on the back of the head. Was she placed in the slide because the murderer was trying to buy time, or did this mean something to the murderer and their victim?

The women at the park also seem a little too quick to share something about the “creepy guy.” It seems like the victim must be someone who was at the park regularly, and we all know what playground moms can be like—if you don’t, you’re lucky to never meet some of them!

So, is it a stalker? My money is on no. While stalkers are dangerous and I would love the series to focus on that at some point, there has to be another explanation. Otherwise, the promo has given everything away.
