There are a lot of questions when it comes to Found season 2. One of the biggest right now is all about Jamie.
Just after Gabi was arrested, Margaret got a tap on her shoulder at the bus station. A boy stood behind her, telling her that he is Jamie, her missing son. Now, just before that, Sir had said that Jamie was still alive. The question is whether this boy really is Jamie or not.
The timing of Jamie’s return is a coincidence in Found
I don’t believe in coincidences, and Jamie’s return is rather timely. He turned up after Gabi was arrested. There are chances that someone thought that Gabi would be locked away for what she did. Nobody expected Sir to not cooperate with the story she told the police, meaning that she was released. The police can’t hold someone if the victim says there wasn’t a crime, right?
However, Jamie turned up as soon as Gabi was gone. Now, Gabi has some good instincts. As Margaret said in the most recent episode, Gabi’s super power is her instinct, and Margaret doesn’t want to hear what Gabi thinks about Jamie just yet. She’s not ready to hear the potential truth that Jamie isn’t who he says he is.
The timing is suspect, though, making me believe that Jamie isn’t who he says he is.

We now know someone close to Jamie took him
In the most recent episode, Margaret found out that someone close to Jamie took him. The train from Jamie’s room was in this boy’s pocket. Margaret knows that the train went missing days after Jamie was taken, which means that the kidnapper was in Jamie’s room.
This would suggest that Jamie is actually who he says he is. Why and how would he have ended up with the train?
Of course, it is possible that Jamie wasn’t the only one taken and held for years. There may have been another boy, who then took the train after something happened to Jamie. Now this boy may want the life that Jamie once had, especially if he was taken from a bad situation or he grew up in a bad situation.

Jamie doesn’t want his dad or sisters to know in Found season 2
The biggest thing going against Jamie being Jamie is the fact that he only wants Margaret around him. He doesn’t want to reunite with his dad and sisters yet. He doesn’t really want to be around the other members of the M&A Team, but he knew that that isn’t something he can get out of. At least he can avoid his sisters and father.
This is possibly because he knows that they won’t believe who he is. Margaret has been desperate to find her son again, blaming herself. She has been focused on figuring out who he could be now, spending every night at the bus station. An imposter can play with that desperation and get into the heart of the person.
It seems too obvious that Jamie is Jamie. At the same time, it seems too obvious for him not to be. That’s why I’m firmly on the fence right now in Found season 2.
