Like many members of the team, Riley likes to keep his personal and professional lives separate. That’s not going to be possible in Law & Order season 24, episode 3.

In the previous episode, we watched the two Law & Orders come together as Olivia Benson stood up for the defense. In the new episode, it’s time for a little more of Riley’s personal life.

Riley’s brother is part of the problem in Law & Order season 24, episode 3

The new episode sees Ryan Eggold guest star as Riley’s brother. This should be a great family reunion, but we know that’s never the case. There’s usually a reason a cop wants to distance himself from his personal life when he’s in work.

When Eggold’s character ends up connected to a murder investigation, Riley has no choice but to own up to who the man is. He decides to head out to speak to his brother to find out what he knows, but this man is not talking. He isn’t a snitch, and that’s probably because if he does talk then he’s going to be in far more trouble with whoever did the killing.

There isn’t much that we know about Riley so far. A lot of fans will be excited to see some backstory on him. In the show’s defense, Riley came in last season, and it was a much shorter season than originally planned. That will have cut out a lot of time for backstory. Now we get it, and it’s with a guest star we can’t wait to see!
