The SVU team will find themselves debating over what happened to a teen in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 10. The biggest question is whether the system is a complete failure.
The episode will see a teen go missing from a group home. Of course, this brings up a lot of questions. Has something happened to the teen, or has the teen simply ran away? There is going to be a debate, but the SVU team will need to act fast if they want to help.
A runaway or something more sinister in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 10?
The team will have their work cut out for them. This could be a case of a runaway. There are plenty of teens who run from group homes, and they don’t want to be found. However, it’s clear that there is something more going on when you look at the promo.
There’s another kid in the home, who says that he is the victim. Then there’s a room with blood all over the bed. What happened in this group home, and where is the missing teen? Did this teen really run away, or is there something far more sinister going on with the way the group home is run?
Velasco is sure that there is something bigger at play. He views this as a failing in the system for the teens. It looks like it could be something bigger with the group home, but Carisi isn’t too certain in the promo. He doesn’t know who to believe, because won’t a teenage boy say anything to get away with doing something bad?
This is certainly setting up to be a dark episode, but one that is sure to bring to light issues within the foster care system. We all know that the foster care system isn’t as great as it’s supposed to be. There are a lot of problems with group homes, foster parents signing up for the wrong reasons, and teens struggling to deal with a world that is against them. What are the answers to solving the problems, though?
