Matlock season 2 episode 8 will air at the usual time of 9 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Thursday, Dec. 11. It airs straight after a new episode of Ghosts, and there is a new episode of Elsbeth to follow it.

What to expect on Matlock season 2 episode 8
The latest episode will see Matty and Olympia tested once more, as Edwin outright asks Olympia if she doesn’t trust them in the promo. To be fair, they have proven that they can’t be trusted, but at the same time, they’ve proven that they can follow an agreement when it’s made in good faith. Olympia just needs to make a choice at this point, because the back and forth over trust is overshadowing everything.
There is a secret threatening to come out during a case against the city. It looks like maybe Sarah is the one to figure things out, and this could be a good thing. Pulling Sarah in could help to take Senior down. The more on their side, the better! She could also help to divert Julian’s attentions, as he is clearly still trying to figure out who the mole is — and he knows!
With the holidays approaching, some mysteries start to come to light while taking on a case involving the city's fire department; Matty and Edwin contemplate meeting Joey's sister.
Meanwhile, there’s a personal storyline for Matty and Edwin. Joey’s sister wants to meet with them, and they need to decide if this is the right thing to do. What does she want? At the end of the day, all these adults need to start thinking of what is best for Alfie, as it won’t be long before he can make his own decisions.
