It’s time for secrets to come out in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 4. It’s all because of a missing girl.
We met the younger Jackson Gibbs in the most recent episode of NCIS: Origins. He never wanted his son to join NCIS after the deaths of Shannon and Kelly, knowing that Gibbs has a death wish. That was certainly visible in the episode, but we also know that Gibbs needs NCIS to start the healing process.
It looks like it’s Alaska and retirement that actually help Gibbs. However, there are many hardships and storylines that our favorite agent needs to face, and we get to see them playout.
NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 4 brings up a personal case
For Gibbs, the new case is going to be personal. There’s a missing girl, and Gibbs will do everything he can to save her. This is set in the 1990s, remember, so it isn’t as easy to find someone as it is today. There are more steps to go through rather than have McGee hack into something like traffic cams. It’s going to be interesting to see how all this plays out.
The synopsis also tells us that Gibbs’s secret is out. It tells us that the most irrevocably changing life moment in Gibbs’s life comes out, and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for the team to learn that he is a widow. It’s time for them to learn that both his daughter and wife were murdered. Gibbs hasn’t got his revenge just yet, but he wants it. There’s almost a hint that this could set up that storyline.
