There are some great personal arcs coming in NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 4. You’re not going to want to miss their development, and you don’t need to with all the details we have to share.

During NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 3, NIS met a young Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard. He quickly made an impression, although not the best with Franks at first. Franks is just a grumpy (not quite old) man, who sometimes needs to get over himself, and he did by the end of the episode.

However, don’t expect to see Ducky back just yet. This episode was a great look at why Ducky started talking to the dead as if they were alive, and the door is open for him to return. Until then, there’s other drama and new cases to deal with.

What time will NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 4 air on CBS?

You can watch CBS in a few ways, even if you don’t have traditional cable. CBS wants to make it easy for you, which is why you can watch via the website or even live with Paramount+. You can also tune in with Fubo TV, YouTube TV, and other similar systems.

What to expect in NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 4

While the promo gives us a small look at the FBI coming in to help with the case, the synopsis for NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 4 tells us a lot more. It makes it clear that this case involves a bank robbery at a Naval base, which is why both NIS and the FBI are involved.

Tensions rise when Franks' estranged older brother, Mason, blows into town, desperate for help after hitting rock bottom; the team investigates the robbery of a Navy bank; Lala, still struggling after her accident, makes a decision about her future.

The synopsis also teases some personal issues, as Franks will need to deal with his brother, Mason. Remember that Franks always believed his brother to be dead after the Vietnam War, and he’s lived with survivor guilt. Now, he’s learned that Mason isn’t dead after all, and Mason is coming to town for help. The man is in serious need of financial help, and possibly more, but will Franks be able to step in and offer the support needed?

Meanwhile, Lala has her own personal situation to tackle. We learned in the previous episode that the things she used to like are now things she hates. This is all thanks to her TBI, and it’s something NCIS: Origins needs to explore more. Is it possible that she no longer loves the job in the way that she used to, or does she want to do a different part of the job? She has to make a decision about her future during the new episode.

NCIS: Origins airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.
