Mike has a bit of a habit of reacting without thinking, and it looks like that could be a problem on NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 6. Poor Randy is going to need to do some extra work.
It was only a couple of episodes ago that Randy was excited about the computer. He could log old case files, and it would make it much easier to find things. And sure enough, in most cases, it does. But we all know that even now, there are days when tech does not want to work for us.
Well, it looks like it will be one of those days for Randy, and that’s not a good thing when Mike’s anger gets in the way. RIP computer!
Randy is sure he’s seen the MO before in NCIS: Origins
In the promo for the episode, we find out that a victim has a coin lodged in his throat, and this is something that makes Randy think back to an old case. It’s likely that he’s thought about it because he’s recently been putting the notes in the computer, and he heads to his desk to do some keyword searches.
Well, if you’re anything like me, you know that you put a particular keyword in a document to find something. Then it gets frustrating when that keyword doesn’t pop up. Some searches are designed to be specific, and you have to get the term just right, and that’s probably the case here — because I don’t think Randy wouldn’t have put something that specific into his notes on the files.
Before he has a chance to look at other options, Mike gets frustrated and throws the computer to the ground. Well, that’s one way to make them have to go through old file notes again, because that computer likely isn’t coming back from the dead.
Whose birthday is it?
The title of the episode is interesting, as it’s “Happy Birthday.” Is it possible that all of this is happening on Randy’s birthday, and everybody in the office has forgotten? With so much focus on Randy, it would certainly seem so.
Whoever’s birthday it is, it looks like Randy is going to head undercover to help get to the bottom of the case. This could land him in some sort of fight club, and we’ll see him and Gibbs both end up in some sort of brawl based on the images!
