There has been a lot of focus on Lala throughout NCIS: Origins season 2, and for a variety of reasons. One of the big storylines is whether she’ll end up working with Flaco or not, and it’s possible that this latest episode will lead to her teaming up with him in the end.

Or is it possible that this is a threat against her because she refuses to team up with Flaco? Either way, it looks like the guy who broke into her apartment and bought her a new lock to keep herself safe could end up being some sort of help.

Lala’s CI is shot on NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 8

Based on the promo and synopsis, we know that Lala will go through the ringer during the episode. Her CI is shot, and not just any CI. Tony is her favorite CI, with Franks sharing that the two have a sibling thing going on. They have certainly formed a bond over the years of working together, as many cops and CIs do, and Lala is going to take this one hard.

It looks like this could be someone who knows Tony, and it could be someone who owes Tony money. Because they wanted the debt to be cleared and forgotten, they decided to shoot him.

However, it seems curious that this is around the time Flaco is putting pressure on Lala to work with him. It could be possible that this is a warning for her to team up. But it could also be the thing that forces her to team up with him to get to the bottom of the case.

Diane could move to Los Angeles

On NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 7, Randy made it clear to Gibbs that Diane is a keeper, and she certainly seems to be. Of course, we know how this relationship plays out and what happens to them in the end, but it is exciting to see how the relationship plays out.

During the episode, she also mentioned how she has more corporate accounts, and it looks like this is going to come up on NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 8. Diana gets an offer, but it means moving to Los Angeles. It’s not like Gibbs can just up and move his life on a whim, so what does this mean for the two of them?

As all that goes on, Mike goes to visit his brother Mason at the compound. We have no idea what that means, but this is the NCIS: Origins season 2 fall finale, so anything could happen!

Check out the promo and synopsis for NCIS: Origins season 2 episode 8:

When Lala’s favorite CI is shot, the team joins forces with Oceanside PD to determine who was behind the attack. Also, Franks visits his brother Mason (guest star Philip Winchester) at the compound, and Gibbs’ relationship with Diane is tested when she gets a job in Los Angeles.
