Fans are excited about the upcoming NCIS crossover, but it turns out there’s another CBS show some NCIS stars are crossing over on the same day!

NCIS fans are eagerly awaiting the first big NCIS crossover in some time. It won’t be what fans expect, as Tuesday, Nov. 11 will see NCIS and NCIS: Origins do a unique crossover event. The concept is NCIS: Origins swaps time slots to begin a mystery case in the 1990s. Then on NCIS, the present-day team reopens the case and works with some surviving Origins members to solve the mystery.

It’s a big deal and good timing as Nov. 11 is Veterans Day. NCIS is known for special episodes to honor the armed services so scheduling this unusual storyline for the date is a matter of perfect timing. As it turns out, there’s another NCIS crossover on CBS on the same day!

Which NCIS stars are appearing on The Price Is Right?

TV Insider shared how the edition of The Price is Right will be the annual Veterans Day edition. This is a special version of the iconic game show featuring an audience of active or retired military personnel. They’ll do the usual games of guessing the price on items and then fun challenges.

The clip has host Drew Cary introduce Austin Stowell, who plays the younger Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS: Origins, alongside co-star Mariel Molino, who plays Lala Dominguez. The pair does a bit of banter about honoring the veterans before presenting the showcase prizes. That includes a trip to San Diego (where NCIS: Origins is set), a cutting-edge tech package, and a new Jeep Compass Sport 4×4.

This isn’t the first time NCIS and The Price is Right have crossed over. In 2016, Pauley Perrette and Brian Dietzen appeared for a special showcase to honor NCIS’s 300th episode. In 2024, Dietzen and Diona Reasonover appeared as part of a tribute to the 1000th episode of the entire NCIS franchise.

Flight of Icarus
“Flight of Icarus” – The team investigates the death of a famed Marine commander’s son, while a pivotal part of Franks’ past involving his family is revealed, on NCIS: ORIGINS, Monday, Jan. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. It’s a smart bit of cross-promotion by CBS. Obviously, having the stars of a top military drama appear on a Veterans Day showcase makes sense. There’s also how it allows CBS to better promote the crossover, as no doubt ads will appear during TPIR, and having the shows all air on the same night is some fun corporate synergy.

It also says something that they went for the stars of Origins rather than the better known mothership NCIS series. That's a smart move to get more attention on the spinoff and hopefully more eyes on it for the ratings.

It’s a short appearance, yet fans of NCIS will want to check out The Price is Right on that day to see some NCIS stars “come on down” for fun!

The Price is Right Veterans Day special airs on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11/10c a.m. on CBS.

The NCIS crossover event begins on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 8/7c.
