After a Halloween-themed episode, it’s time for NCIS to get a little more serious. The team will need to prevent World War III in NCIS season 22, episode 4.

The most recent episode was a bit of fun. It was designed to give us a few scares and humor as we got ready for Halloween. The new episode is set to put the focus back on world events. After all, we know that there’s always a chance World War III will happen with how tensions are around the world.

Parker is the one to get the team in when they’re all supposed to be sleeping. Well, Kasie is involved in an all-night D&D game, and that is just so Kasie! Of course, Torres is more focus on how Kasie is dressed rather than on the case at hand, but her arrival in her costume shows how important things are in her life, but how she can also switch her priorities.

Back to the case. The Russians are threatening to start up World War III. Isn’t that the usual storyline when it comes to World War III? Doesn’t everyone think that it’s the Russians who will start it?

The team gets some intelligence that suggests deadly threats around the world. They are all needed immediately if they want to get to the bottom of it. The series is going to need to throw in some twists and turns to the episode if it wants us on the edge of our seat. World War III and Russia as a threat are formulaic forms of storytelling now.
