We’re ready for a night of crime drama. Thursdays are all about Law & Order: SVU, but there are some changes to the schedule on Thursday, Feb. 6.
After a string of new episodes, the series is heading on a break. There won’t be a new episode of Law & Order: SVU on tonight, Thursday, Feb. 6. There is some good news that comes with the bad.
A Law & Order: SVU rerun will air tonight
NBC will still have an episode of the crime and legal series. There will be a rerun of the season 26 premiere. This episode saw the team called in on an attack on some law students. Benson and the team had to get to the bottom of the attack, figuring out the truth from the lies as there were different stories being told.
Thursday will look a little different, though. Rather than starting with a rerun of the flagship Law & Order series, we’ll get a rerun of The Hunting Party. Law & Order: SVU is the only series remaining in its usual timeslot, with a rerun of Law & Order afterward. There isn’t a rerun of Found tonight.
When will SVU return with new episodes?
This break is a short one. We’ll get new episodes of Thursday, Feb. 13. We’ll get a normal Thursday night lineup that night.
When the show returns, we’ll see Tony Goldwyn guest star in the episode. The Law & Order actor is coming in to help with the situation when Carisi makes a deal with the suspect. Benson is unhappy. Sure, it will help to bring in a larger group of pedophiles, but is it right to have one pedophile running free? It’s a question that a lot of people will have as they watch the episode.
Silva will plead for a lesser sentence for one of the suspects. She believes that this suspect is actually an innocent victim. How does that work? We definitely need to watch the episode live to find out.
