At long last, Sunday nights are getting back to normal. CBS is back with new episodes of its top shows tonight, Sunday, Feb. 16, and that includes The Equalizer!
Yes, there is a new episode of The Equalizer on tonight. The football is over, and that means few reasons to put shows on a break. There maybe be one coming up at the start of March when it’s Oscar night, but there will be a few new episodes back-to-back before then!
The Equalizer is moving timeslots tonight!
There is something important to keep in mind tonight. The Equalizer is moving to the latest timeslot of 10/9c. It will come after new episodes of Tracker and Watson. This is disappointing, but I get why CBS is opting to put on Watson in the middle of the two strong shows. It gives this new drama a better fighting chance.
What will it mean for The Equalizer? This show was on the bubble last year, mostly due to licensing agreements. We could see the same thing this year, and I don’t think the timeslot would have affected that. I think that’s a problem with the way studios and licensing work.
What to expect in The Equalizer season 5, episode 8
The new episode will see Robyn McCall hunt down answers when a young girl is killed in a shootout. It turns out that there may be a gang war afoot, and now Robyn will want to prevent that from happening.
Meanwhile, love is in the air. With an episode so close to Valentine’s Day, it makes sense to have a focus on date night. Aunt Vi and Delilah are heading on dates, and it’s going to be so cute watching them both prepare. They are at different stages of life, but everyone deserves someone to love them.
The Equalizer airs on Sundays at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
