When there are big award shows or events on TV, we tend to see our favorite shows take a break. With the Oscars on ABC tonight, does it mean Tracker will take a break just as it’s returned to our screens?

We’re used to breaks in the schedule when there is something big going on another network. It seems like suicide to go up against big award shows, right? Well, the broadcast networks have decided to test new episodes up against the Academy Awards tonight, Sunday, March 2.

Tracker will air a new episode tonight

There will be a new episode of Tracker tonight. This may be surprising news to some people, but it’s also good news for many. After all, the series has only just returned from its winter break. We need consistence at this point in the schedule, right?

CBS agrees, and it’s not the only network going up against the Academy Awards. NBC and FOX also have new episodes of TV shows airing tonight.

What to expect in Tracker season 2, episode 11

Colter is going to find himself in danger in the middle of a mafia war during the new episode. It all starts with him being hired to find the son of a prominent cupcake chain founder in New Jersey. This seems like a simple and normal enough case, right? Why would a cupcake chain be the front of a mafia?

Well, you’ll be surprised. Restaurants, dry cleaners, bakeries, and other similar businesses have been used to help with the washing of money. NCIS just recently had a drug-running storyline that involved a bakery as well, so are we really surprised that more shows aren’t doing this?

While in the search for the missing son, Colter will likely find himself in the tracks of the other mafia family. These types of wars run deep, and it may not end well for Colter Shaw.

Take a look at the promo and synopsis for the new episode:

“While tracking the son of a prominent New Jersey cupcake chain founder, Colter gets thrust into the middle of a violent mafia war.”

Tracker airs on Sundays at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
