Lacey has been through one hell of a journey in Found, and there’s no doubt that that will continue if Found season 3 happens. Now we just need to find the show a new home!
The second season started with Lacey being held captive by Sir once more. However, this time, she came out of his stronger. She faced the monster down, and it was time to come back badder than ever. The best thing is that she still has her heart for those around her.
Lacey would have continued her career in law in Found season 3
During the second season, Lacey made it clear that she was sticking with law school. This was her dream, and there’s no doubt that we’d likely see that continue in Found season 3. She has a chance to help more people by being a lawyer, both in terms of working with M&A to make sure they can get out of their sticky situations and also to aid clients when they are wrongfully accused of something.
This could also open the door to see Lacey with a life outside of M&A. We know that she’s in a study group, as she shared that toward the end of Found season 2, but we never see her with that group. We hadn’t even known that she had some connections outside of M&A until that moment, so I would love to see the show delve into that more.
Being able to continue her fight for Gabi in Found
One person who is going to need her legal help is Gabi. At the end of the second season, Gabi told the world what she had done to Sir. This is going to mean a need for legal help, and Lacey is the one to offer that. She’s already shared how Gabi could get out of the confession that she shared, and Dhan is there to also help by cleaning up any signs of evidence.
Out of all the people at M&A, Lacey is likely the one to also be able to keep the team running while Gabi is locked away. After all, she’s the one who got everyone back together when the team was fractured at the start of the season. Her love and her understanding of Gabi’s actions led to her getting everyone to continue working on helping clients.
Some focus on her relationship with Zeke
Finally, we have to touch on the slow-burn romance that was finally showing signs of happening. This was one of those slow-burns that I didn’t think we needed until it all started to play out. Lacey and Zeke are wonderful for each other, and they need to continue to support each other.
Lacey went over to mend fences at the end of the second season. With Gabi now likely arrested considering her confession, Lacey and Zeke will need to keep each other in check as they focus on getting her out of trouble.
