The fight to save Found continues, and we’re taking a look at what could happen to the various characters if that’s the case. Zeke has had some tremendous backstory explained, but it’s time for him to see more development in the series.
Zeke is agoraphobic, which is a trauma response after he was held captive. The idea is that if he doesn’t leave his house, he can’t be abducted again, and while that trauma response makes sense, there are elements of it that he needs to address. That’s something Lacey wants for him, especially after seeing the way he reacted when there was a power cut.

Zeke needs to want to seek help in Found season 3
The problem for Zeke is that he doesn’t feel like he has an issue. He’s dealing with his trauma in a way that works for him, and he has a whole setup in his house that allows that. This is a man who has figured out how to make it possible to remain home all the time, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t debilitating.
This isn’t a case of saying that Zeke is missing out on life. However, his agoraphobia is debilitating. When there’s a power outage, he completely breaks down. Fortunately, Lacey was there to help him through it, but it was a scary time for both of them. Lacey had never seen Zeke react that way, and she knows that this isn’t good for him.
So, in Found season 3, we’d need to see Zeke start to get help for his agoraphobia. No, it doesn’t mean that he needs to be able to get outside by the end of the season. Maybe the first step is to be able to deal with the power going out, or maybe the first step is to be able to just cross the boundary of his home. He can cross it when he’s provoked into it, so he needs to learn how to manage that and do it by himself.

Zeke needs to welcome Lacey back into his life in Found
During the second season, the slow-burn romance finally happened. Zeke shared how he felt for Lacey, and it looked like things could be on the up. But then Lacey tried pushing Zeke into talking about how unhealthy his trauma response is before Zeke was ready for it, and he ended up pushing her away.
He did allow her back into his house at the end of the season, though. Dhan made it clear that Lacey was Zeke’s version of Ethan, the light in a world of darkness, and to hold onto her, and that’s what Zeke clearly wants to do. It’s just going to take time to fully open up to her.
Found season 3 needs to see that relationship develop. We need to see how two people with trauma and baggage are able to support and love one another. It’s important to see how they can grow as a couple but also continue to grow individually. They’ll both be dealing with Gabi confessing her crimes to the world, which adds another layer of trouble for them.
