Monday nights have been all about our favorite Texan first responders for the longest time. What’s going on with the 911: Lone Star schedule tonight, Monday, Feb. 10?
Well, we have a lot of bad news. There isn’t going to be a new episode tonight. Nor is there going to be a new episode ever.
911: Lone Star has come to the end of the series
The previous episode was the 911: Lone Star season 5 finale. Doesn’t that just mean we have a break for a few months? Well, sadly, there isn’t going to be another episode. The season 5 finale has worked out as the series finale.
The series got the cancellation order while writing the fifth season. It wasn’t what anyone wanted, and it certainly came with some disappointing news in that Sierra McClain wouldn’t return as Grace at all. The series did the best it could in offering happy endings to everyone, although I will argue that it was too “happy” for a show that was always wild and focused on first responders.
What can you watch instead of 911: Lone Star?
So, what’s on tonight? FOX will air the new series Extracted. This is a reality show that sees a family member head out into the wilderness to survive. The rest of the family watches on screens, and they have a choice to extract the contestants or not.
This isn’t quite the same as 911: Lone Star. The good news is that the flagship series set in LA is coming back very soon, but that will be over on ABC. 911 season 8 returns with new episodes on Thursday, March 6. There isn’t much longer left to wait for that.
If you do want to watch 911: Lone Star from the beginning again, then you’ll need to turn to Hulu. That’s where the entire series is available to stream.
There are talks of a spin-off in the works. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some of the 126 turn up, even if it’s just for a one-off episode.
911: Lone Star is available to stream on Hulu.
