There isn't a new episode of Found next week despite an initial promise

Found was supposed to be back to normal next Thursday, April 24, but that's no longer the case.

Found has seen some big changes to its schedule recently, and those changes weren’t heavily advertised by NBC. Now there’s another change, and fans aren’t happy about it.

When TVLine initially shared the news that Found would move to Monday night for a week, it came with the news that the show would return to normal on Thursday, April 24. Well, it turns out that that statement was incorrect. We’re taking a week off from the series.

When will Found season 2, episode 20 now air?

Rather than this coming Thursday, we’ll need to wait until May. There isn’t going to be another episode in April, and this is likely to help get the series to the middle of the month for finale season. It just comes off the back of some major changes to the schedule that don’t help an already struggling show — and struggling because of the schedule and not because of the quality.

The promo for Found season 2, episode 20 was released just after the Monday, April 14 episode, making it clear that the series would take a week off. It’s going to feel a lot longer than a week because of the break already, though.

Instead, the episode will air on Thursday, May 1. At least it is moving back to Thursdays, and it will air after new Law & Order shows.

What to expect in Found season 2, episode 20

The M&A Team will need to revisit old cases, when people they have helped before end up becoming new victims. They’re not missing persons victims, though. This time, they are poison victims, and it’s going to be a race against time to save them all. After all, who is this person going after, because it won’t be all the people Gabi and the team have saved before. Some of them will have moved away.

Another question is who is behind all of this. It seems like it should be Lena/Heather, but could it also be Kerry, who is feeling the weight of the police now that Trent knows it was her who took Jamie all those years ago?

The synopsis is a little confusing as well, as it says Dhan makes headway in determining Jamie’s identity. Haven’t we already determined that he is Margaret’s son? Is it going to turn out that he’s another boy? This doesn’t make sense!

Check out the promo and synopsis for Found season 2, episode 20:

"A missing person flyer draws Margaret into a case about a missing woman with Down syndrome; previously missing persons from M&A's old cases resurface; Sir negotiates the terms of his case; Dhan makes headway in determining Jamie's identity."

Found returns on Thursday, May 1 at 10/9c on NBC.
