NBC brought us a sneak peek of The Hunting Party last Sunday, airing the first episode in a special timeslot. Sadly, there isn’t a new episode of the series on tonight, Sunday, Jan. 26.
The show will still air on Mondays. That means we need to wait for the original premiere date for the series to come back. Last Sunday’s viewing was a way to get more eyes on the show, coming in hot after the Divisional game on the network.
What’s on NBC tonight?
Instead of a new episode of The Hunting Party tonight, we’ll get a rerun of Deal or No Deal Island and then Dateline. This is due to a big game over on CBS. The AFC Championship Game airs throughout the night, with the new series Watson debuting afterward. It doesn’t make sense for NBC to put on new episodes against all of that.
Even if NBC was going to risk that, it wouldn’t be with a new episode of The Hunting Party. The series is set to air on Mondays instead.
When will The Hunting Party return with new episodes?
The Hunting Party was originally going to air on Mondays at 10/9c starting on Monday, Feb. 3. This is still the plan. The Sunday, Jan. 19 airing was just a special debut for the series. We’ll get a rerun of the series premiere on Monday, Feb. 3.
After that, the series will be back to normal. We’ll be able to tune in on Mondays at 10/9c to continue watching the hunt for the most dangerous criminals in the world.
What to expect when The Hunting Party returns
As mentioned, when the show airs in its usual timeslot, it will be with a rerun of the series premiere. This episode introduced us to the main characters, including some of their basic backstories. The most interesting has been Bex, who knew she was meant to be a profiler from the age of 15.
There are no details for the second episode just yet. That’s not surprising considering NBC is opting for a rerun of the series premiere. There is a teaser for the season to come, though:
