CBS Sundays are usually all about the drama. There’s a change to the schedule this Sunday, which means there isn’t a new episode of Tracker on tonight, Sunday, April 6.
There is some good news in that this break is just a short one. There is further bad news in that there won’t be a rerun tonight due to the time that a special will air throughout the night. Instead, CBS will air a rerun of a popular comedy series.
Why isn’t Tracker new tonight?
The lack of new episode is likely two-fold, with the first being that CBS has alternate programming for tonight. Sunday, April 6 will start off with a special titled An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile. It’s packed with musical performances as the two share how they came to working together on their upcoming new album.
After that, we’ll get reruns of Ghosts and Watson. That’s right, Tracker and The Equalizer fans, there won’t be a rerun of the two shows. While Tracker has already been renewed, so we’re not so worried about that, there is a concern about the lack of The Equalizer rerun and what it means for the bubble show.
The other reason for the lack of new episode is likely scheduling. The Tracker season 2 finale date is set for Sunday, May 11, and there needs to be plenty of episodes to get to that point.

When will Tracker return with new episodes?
There is some great news when it comes to the return of the series. This break is only a week long, with the next new episode airing on Sunday, April 13.
The new episode will see Colter team up with an old friend. We don’t get the details of who this old friend is, so this is sure to bring up some discussions about Colter’s family, as he continues to search for answers about his dad.
Meanwhile, Reenie will get a new client who tests her morality. Will she turn to Colter for some advice to see what he would do, or will she end up following her gut and not taking on the client considering what it means? It’s hard when you’re focused on growing a business and sticking to your own morals.
Tracker will return on Sunday, April 13 at 8/7c on CBS.
