Stirling K. Brown is leading a new crime series, and it’s one you’ll not want to miss. Paradise premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and it was originally only going to stream on Hulu.

Well, there’s a change of plan for the series premiere only. The series is going to get a linear outing, which is something that a lot of other streamers and networks are doing as of late. We just have to look at how Yellowstone season 5’s premiere aired on CBS and then remained on Paramount and how NBC aired the premiere of The Day of the Jackal after its Peacock run.

This is a great thing for shows, in my opinion. With all the hard work that goes into creating a series, it deserves as many eyes on it as possible. With companies utilizing both networks and streamers, this helps to boost the engagement for the first episodes.

When will Paradise air on ABC and FX?

Paradise will now get an outing on both ABC and FX, according to Variety. This is only for the series premiere, keep in mind.

Viewers will get to watch on ABC on Wednesday, Jan. 29. It will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT, competing with the last hour of the One Chicago three-way crossover event.

If you watch a lot of shows on FX, you’ll be able to watch Paradise episode 1 on Saturday, Feb. 1. Again, the episode will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

After that, the only place to stream the episodes will be on Hulu. They will drop every Tuesday on the streamer. You’ll actually be able to watch the first three episodes of Paradise right away, as they all drop on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The remaining episodes are released once per week.

What is Paradise about?

The series follows Xavier Collins, a Secret Service Agent assigned the important job of protecting the President of the United States. When the President is murdered, all eyes are on Collins, who may or may not have committed murder.

However, it’s clear that there is something much bigger going on. The promo shows that someone wants Collins to answer questions in a way that will make him look guilty. Who wants this, and why? Well, that’s the mystery to solve within the murder.
