It’s news NCIS fans have been waiting a long time for. After almost a decade, at last, Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) are reuniting for a new spinoff. The pair had been a fantastic couple on NCIS with their chemistry and obvious mutual attraction. It seemed to end with Ziva shockingly being killed off, and it came out that she and Tony had gotten together and even had a child. Tony left NCIS to care for her.

Ziva turned out to be alive and briefly worked with NCIS before returning to Paris to be with Tony. Tony made a brief cameo in the Ducky tribute episode, and then word came that a new spinoff was being ordered.

Set in Europe, the plotline is the pair running a security company only to go on the run when it’s attacked. There’s not much else known about the show, but with a reunion of the pair on screen and so much potential, these are a few things fans want to see to make the return of “Tiva” a true NCIS event.

10. Give us some action

Don't forget, Ziva is a highly-trained Mossad operative and has proven herself a capable fighter. Also, under all that humor and swagger, Tony is an experienced cop and more skilled in a fight than he lets on.

The show should be a great action piece, much like Mr. & Mrs. Smith and even bigger as, no longer law enforcement, the pair can cut loose in a battle and the series should embrace being more action-oriented than the other NCIS shows.
