Fans will have to wait until October for Accused Season 2 on Fox

After already waiting a whole TV season, there's more bad news. Accused Season 2 won't premiere until October 2024.

We’re certainly ready for another season of Accused. The anthology crime series is one that makes us think, and we certainly have to check our bias throughout.

The great news is that Accused Season 2 is happening. It was renewed back in 2023. However, it didn’t get to be part of the 2023–2024 TV season due to the strike action in the summer. Like 911: Lone Star, it was held for the fall of the next season.

Well, the wait is almost over. We just have to wait a little longer for this one than other shows on Fox.

Accused Season 2 will premiere in October 2024

We have to wait until Tuesday, Oct. 1. Accused Season 2 will premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT. It will be followed by a new episode of the Canadian series Murder in a Small Town.

The week before will see Murder in a Small Town premiere in the Accused timeslot.

Who will be in Accused Season 2?

The second season will see Michael Chiklis return. It’s not clear whether he will reprise his role from the first season or if he will be part of another story. The series is an anthology show, and that usually means that each episode is completely standalone.

Chiklis returning was announced at the same time of confirming that Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, and Nick Cannon would be part of the series. The series routinely focuses on real issues and cases similar to events that happen in real life. Is it possible that Huffman could be part of an episode involving a very real situation the actress was involved in when it came to bribing colleges?

Deadline has shared some of the guest stars for individual episodes. Taylor Schilling, Justin Chambers, and Danny Pino will appear in one episode together. They will be in one titled “April’s Story,” where April is a nurse who commits a crime that changes her life’s trajectory. Or does she? After all, sometimes, we’re shown that people are accused of something but that doesn’t mean they did it.
