BritBox releases first-look images of Suspect Season 2

The streaming services certainly have us covered for new crime dramas during the summer months. BritBox is the place to turn for some of the best British crime dramas. Suspect is one of those shows, and we have first-look images for Season 2!

The bad news is that this series won’t get us through the summer. You’ll want to watch the first season to do that. The second season is set to arrive on BritBox in Canada and the United States in the fall. It will air on Channel 4 in the UK in the summer.

What to expect in Suspect Season 2

The second season picks up where Season 1 left. Dr. Susannah Newman needs to find out who killed her daughter. When she gets a mysterious new client, Jon, she decides to go through some hypnosis. This leads to him making a disturbing confession. Of course, with doctor-patient confidentiality, is there a lot that she is able to do with the information?

Well, she decides she will try. She heads out on her own mission in an attempt to save a life.

Who stars in Suspect’s second season

Anne-Marie Duff is back as Dr. Susannah Newman. She will be joined by Dominic Cooper as Jon, the mysterious new client who may be planning a murder.

We get a good look at some of the characters throughout the season in the first-look images. We can see how determined Susannah is on this mission. She needs to protect someone else to make up for not protecting her daughter, and it’s not going to be easy to do. In fact, this could get Susannah killed.
