Torres returns in Chicago PD Season 11, Episode 4
If you worried about losing Torres, there's some great news. He'll be back in Chicago PD Season 11, Episode 4.
Torres has been away on furlough for the first three episodes of Chicago PD Season 11. We did worry at one point that he would be replaced by a new cop, but our worries were unjustified as we watched how Episode 3 played out.
The great news is Torres is back in the action in the upcoming new episode. He’ll be front and center, as he works undercover in an attempt to turn a cartel trophy wife.
Torres puts himself in danger in Chicago PD Season 11, Episode 4
In the promo for the new episode, Voight shares that they have never been able to make a case against a particular drug lord. It looks like Intelligence could be a step closer to doing that, but they need more evidence. That means someone needs to go undercover.
As Torres realizes that there’s a cartel trophy wife, he decides that he is the perfect person to get them to turn. We know that Torres does have a backstory that involves drugs and gangs, so it does make sense that he would know the cartels and the drug lords’ wives.
Will he be able to turn the wife as he expects, though? What can he offer to make it worthwhile for the wife to betray her husband? After all, she’ll know the risks of turning on the cartel, and she won’t necessarily want to face them.
It is going to be great to see Torres back with the team, though. It’s also going to be great to see the focus put on someone other than Upton, Burgess, or Ruzek. The three get a lot of screentime, and we need to see more of Torres and Atwater.
