Voight takes a personal interest in a case in Chicago PD Season 11, Episode 6 (Preview)
It’s time for a Voight-focused episode in Chicago PD Season 11, Episode 6. That’s sure to make a lot of people happy.
Voight is the leader of the team. However, in recent seasons, he’s taken a bit more of a backstep in personal storylines. He’s been secondary in a few that involve characters like Upton and Halstead, but he hasn’t really taken on the lead in a case and given us more details about who he is.
That’s going to change with the new episode. In fact, it looks like Voight gets so caught up that he crashes his car.
Chicago PD 11x06 promo
The promo gives us a look at the case. There are no leads and no suspect, but the team will need to figure out what happened to a teenage boy. This isn’t a case of a boy running away from home. There is CCTV footage of him being attacked. He’s been taken.
Voight is engrossed in figuring it all out. So much so that we see him crash the car with Upton in it. It looks like they’re both going to make it out of the crash just fine, but it shows just how focused Voight is on the case.
Chicago PD 11x06 synopsis
The synopsis doesn’t tell us much more than that. We get to see that ADA Chapman is the one who gets Intelligence involved. Chapman needs to figure it out, too.
This one takes a personal turn of sorts for Voight, though. It hits close to home, and he will stop at nothing to get the answers the parents deserve.
"Intelligence teams up with ASA Chapman to take on an abduction case involving a teenager. The case hits close to home for Voight, leading him to take a personal interest in finding justice for the victim."
Chicago PD airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC. Catch up on Peacock the following day.
