Yes, we will get new episodes of Chicago PD in January 2024
We are more than ready to get our favorite shows back. This summer has been hard. The great news is Chicago PD Season 11 is almost here.
ABC and CBS have opted to hold off until after the Super Bowl. FOX has opted for March, and we don’t even know when The CW shows will be back. The good news is NBC has opted to bring us shows as soon as possible, and that means January 2024.
It will likely mean a break in March or April, but we’ll take it for the return dates. Now we just need to know exactly when and what we can expect when the series comes back.
When will Chicago PD Season 11 premiere on NBC?
There isn’t too long to wait at this point. Chicago PD Season 11 will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 17. You’ll be able to watch the episode at 10 p.m. ET/PT, following new episodes of Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
Everyone from the end of Season 10 is coming back. However, this is going to be Hailey Upton’s last season.
The first episode is sure to bring us the storyline for Upton’s exit this season. The synopsis tells us that while Voight stands by her as she struggles in her personal life, she is going to start seeing a mental health clinician connected to the unit. She and this clinician won’t see eye to eye. Is that because she won’t take time off as she deals with everything that’s going on with Halstead?
Meanwhile, we need to find out what’s going on with Ruzek. It looked like he survived the shooting at the end of the 10th season. Will he suffer mentally after it? At least Burgess is by his side, and we would love to see wedding bells for the two of them now that they’re back together and seem stronger than ever before.
Chicago PD Season 11 premieres on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10/9c on NBC. Catch up the following day on Peacock.
